I am an illustrator born and raised in Taipei, Taiwan, and currently living and working out of New York, New York. As a child, I loved to draw, imitating my favorite comics and copying from master artists and illustrators such as Moebius, Sergio Toppi and Ralph Steadman. My work frequently touch political subject matter, often about current events of the subject matters of oppression, injustice and inequality. I am also a cartoonist, I like to draw my subject matters from the daily lives of New Yorkers I see, and put a humorous spin on it. I believe through my cartoons, I could reflect the people of this beautiful city, and either show the irony of how some of these people live, or the struggle they go through to make it in this city. I am currently attending the Master of Fine Arts Visual Narrative Program at the School of Visual Arts.
I was also an amateur boxer, placing second in the Buffalo Golden Gloves and USIBA Collegiate National Championships.
